This is a family-friendly animated comedy-adventure. On his way to a big race, brash racing car Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) unintentionally ends up in Radiator Springs, a Route 66 town that the interstate bypassed. There he encounters colorful talking motor vehicles, including a cute Porsche (voice of Bonnie Hunt), a tow truck (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) and a hippie VW van (voice of George Carlin). Other voices heard include those of Paul Newman, Tony Shalhoub, and Cheech Marin.

Langdon becomes an innocent man on the run as he tries to unravel the bizarre clues surrounding the crime. His search for the truth raises issues about Mary Magdalene, the Holy Grail and Christian dogma.

Al Gore, the former U.S. Vice President and candidate for U.S. President, presents his views on global warning in this op-ed piece. It's a compelling multimedia presentation with charts, graphs, photographs, archival footage, interviews, anecdotes, and other materials. Gore's earnestness and passion help him make a persuasive case that the world's climate is changing and we'd better try to figure out what to do about it. The film is intellectually engaging, and it's worth seeing whether you agree with Gore or not.

The voices of Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage and Meryl Streep are among those heard in this computer-animated adventure film. The title character is a young boy named Lucas who torments a colony of ants, who turn out to talk and have a complex community structure. The wizard ant Zoc (voice of Cage) shrinks Lucas down to ant size, and the boy is abducted by the ants. Lucas meets Zoc's girlfriend (voice of Roberts) and the ant queen (voice of Streep), and the ants tutor the boy in the virtues of discipline and teamwork.
Clerks II

Directed, written and edited by Kevin Smith, this comedy is the sequel to Clerks (1994). This time around we see what became of Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson) a decade or so after the earlier movie. Also, Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) are still around. Dante and Randal still reside in New Jersey, but now they work in a burger joint called Mooby's, which is managed by Becky Scott (Rosario Dawson). Dante is now engaged to be married and plans to move to Florida.
Superman Returns

A series of four Superman films ran on the big screen from 1978 to 1987, and Superman Returns brings back the Man of Steel with different actors portraying the key characters: Brandon Routh as Clark Kent/Superman, Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane and Kevin Spacey as the villain Lex Luthor. This time around, Superman returns to Metropolis after five years away, and Clark gets his old reporter's job back. But now Lois has a son and a fiancé, and Lex Luthor is up to a diabolical scheme that will kill millions of people.
